"Darling, do you know what day it is today?". Ever heard that question before? Ever started sweating right away because it just hits you that second that it is your anniversary?Ever got a call from your Mom at night telling you that Dad is still waiting for your call because it is his birthday? Do you want to keep track of all your employees birthdays?
Current version: 4.0.0012 Get it in the Downloads section... Description: If you are working with a computer on a daily basis why not let the computer take care about reminding you of all those events, but remind you early enough of course. Also, NotifyPlus is not like other schedulers offering a similar feature. Those programs are usually loaded with other features you don't want and they have to stay in memory all the time to work. NotifyPlus is designed to check on events just at Windows startup time, reminds you if there is an event and then unloads itself from memory. Sure, you are only reminded when you start Windows but for the usually events like anniversaries isn't that enough? You can setup NotifyPlus to remind you of any upcoming yearly, monthly, weekly or once-only event up to 15 days ahead. So if your Mom's birthday is next week you will be reminded any time you start Windows starting 15 days before that day if you like. Besides of the German and English language support another feature added in a previous version is the notification of passed events since the last check. David Smail, a user of Notify 98, came up with this idea. He was considering the chance that you might not use your PC for a while and that you might miss events during this time. The new feature shows you all events that took place since Notify checked the last time. At least you can call up your Mom now to say "Sorry" instead of not calling at all. In Notify 99 I redesgined the graphical user interface for navigating through days and months. Oliver Gönner from Germany for example was one of many users asking me for a more convenient way to handle the day and month selection. Oliver was also mainly involved in designing and testing the new features in the all new Version 4.0 which is called NotifyPlus now. Don Hicks is another user who brought in some good ideas. Some of these new features are:
And the best of all: NotifyPlus is still FREE. So go ahead and check it out. Screenshots: ![]() ![]()
